NSW National Premier League (NPL)  1

Hakoah Sydney City East were relegated and replaced by NPL 2 champions North Shore Mariners

A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers have dropped Tigers from their name

NSW National Premier League  2

League reduced from 14 to 12 teams for 2020

North Shore Mariners were promoted to NPL1 and replaced by relegated Hakoah Sydney City East

Canterbury Bankstown, Macarthur Rams and Rydalmere Lions were relegated to NPL3 and replaced by SD Raiders from NPL 3

GHFA Spirit FC became NWS Spirit FC

NSW National Premier League  3

League used once for only four games in 2020

Queensland NPL

League reduced to thirteen teams

Western Pride, SWQ Thunder and Sunshine Coast Fire were relegated to FQPL

Sunshine Coast Wanderers and Capalaba were promoted from FQPL

Football Queensland Premier League (FQPL)

League increased to eleven teams

Sunshine Coast Wanderers and Capalaba were promoted to the NPL

Wolves FC became Wynnum Wolves

Victoria NPL 1

Pascoe Vale and Kingston City were relegated to NPL 2 
Eastern Lions and St Albans Saints were promoted from NPL2

Victoria NPL 2

League reduced to 12 teams from 20 by relegating the bottom four clubs from each conference to NPL3

The two conference winners, Eastern Lions and St Albans Saints, were promoted to NPL 1

Moreland Zebras become Moreland Zebras Juventus

Western Australia NPL

Stirling Lions were relegated to Division One and replaced by Division One champions Gwelup Croatia

Western Australia State League Division One

League increased from eleven to twelve teams

Champions Gwelup Croatia were promoted to NPL and Stirling Lions were relegated from NPL

Subiaco and Morley-Windmills were relegated to Division Two and replaced by Quinns FC

South Australia NPL

West Adelaide and South Adelaide were relegated and replaced by State League One champions Modbury Jets and playoff winners Cumberland United

South Australia State League One

Champions Modbury Jets and playoff winners Cumberland United were promoted to NPL
West Adelaide and South Adelaide were relegated from NPL
Noarlunga United and Salisbury United were relegated to State League Two and replaced by Adelaide Hills and Vipers FC

Tasmania NPL

League reduced to eight teams

Hobart Zebras and Clarence United merged to form Clarence Zebras

Northern NSW NPL

Hamilton Olympic became Newcastle Olympic

Charlestown City Blues became Charlestown Azzurri

Newcastle Jets left the league to join NSW NPL 4

Capital football NPL

League reduced to eight teams after Riverino Rhinos withdrew 

Canberra FC became Canberra Croatia
